Whole-Home-Automation
- HP ProDesk 405 G4 will be server base
- HAOS to integrate all 67+ smart home devices to one location
- Surface Pro tablet to be HA Kiosk in living room.
- NFC tags and Notion to be integrated into system.
We are almost done with post lift off plan (PLOP). Almost all devices are integrated into HA. Next step is to install some smart switches and motion sensors to trigger lighting and other actions.
I also have an empty wall switch bay that I’m planning something fun with.

HP ProDesk installed and booted as HAOS Server. We have completed lift-off integrations and are now working on post-lift-off tasks; included are HAOS monitoring, AdGuard, network optimization and protections, etc.

LAB 002
HVAC Optimization Stage 1
This idea/lab/project is my living/breathing documentation of my HVAC Optimization. The upstairs comfort level is to be desired in the auxiliary rooms (Office, Guest 1, Guest 2). The first stage is to add an air pathway duct from the office to the loft. We will test comfort in the office after installation. If there is noticeable improvement, we will install an air pathway duct in Guest 1 and Guest 2. If the issue is not resolved, we will go back to the drawing board.

Air pathway has not been a success. I’ve adjusted fan settings and I have installed two aux temp sensors. One in my office and one in the guest suite. I’ll take note of temps over the next week or so then make next adjustment.

I installed the first air pathway from my office to the loft area. I'm just going off vibes and will see if there is a noticeable difference tomorrow. I'm contemplating getting a mobile temp sensor that I can integrate into Home Assistant.

I need to update and centralize all office assets. I need to source a desk and equipment to organize current assets and allow for growth on this home automation journey.
Plant Daddy Division wants to create a page that highlights plants in the inventory. What’s thriving, what’s alive, what didn’t survive? Potential integration into the brief.
